SECTION 1

AUTHORITY

1.1        These Bylaws are adopted pursuant to the Constitution of United States Ranger Corps.

SECTION 2

NAME AND CORPORATE SEAL

2.1        The name of United States Ranger Corps may be stated by any of the following:

a.         "United States Ranger Corps"

b.         “USRC”

2.2          Each unit shall use a name expressing its designation, the words "United States Ranger Corps".

2.3          The corporate seal shall have inscribed thereon “United States Ranger Corps”

 SECTION 3

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

3.1          Membership categories, membership year, eligibility, rights, duties, and privileges not otherwise provided for in the Bylaws shall be as set forth in the regulations.

SECTION 4

DUES

4.1        Each member shall pay annual dues in such amount as may be established by the          Command Council. Failure to pay annual dues shall result in automatic termination of   membership.

4.2        Except as otherwise provided in regulations, annual dues shall be payable:

A.         For a new member, at the time the application for membership is presented.

B.         For a renewing member, during the three-month period prior to the membership                           expiration date.

4.3        The Corps Commander may waive payment of, or lower the amount of annual dues for any member.

4.4        Unit Dues are $60.00.

A.         Division Commanders may establish division dues with the approval of the Command Council.

B.         Brigade Commanders may establish brigade dues with the approval of theDivision Commander and the Command Council.

C.         Dues for other membership units may be established with the approval of the Brigade Commander, Division Commander, and the Command Council.

SECTION 5

TERMINATION AND NONRENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP

5.1        Membership in the United States Ranger Corps is a privilege, not a right. Membership is conditioned on adherence to United States Ranger Corps rules and regulations.

5.2        Membership in United States Ranger Corps may be terminated at any time for cause or may be non-renewed at the end of a membership year. Procedures for such actions including review and appeals, if any, shall be as set forth in the regulations and shall be consistent with provisions of Article VI of the Constitution.
