I'm glad that you have been browsing our website and are curious about the United States Ranger Corps Chaplain Service. Maybe you've been a Chaplain in the military service or in another public service organization. Read on and see if you would qualify to become part of a growing number of clergy professionals, pastors, priests, and rabbi's who have decided to serve America in times of crisis as part of a uniformed public service organization.
The first step is to join the U. S. Ranger Corps. That application page can be accessed on the USRC home page. Go to the Main Menu and click on Join Information. Follow the instructions and begin the application process that is described.
When your application is approved, contact the office of the Chief of Chaplains via email:

and you will be guided to the next step toward being an appointed Chaplain. Be patient as the process takes a few days, but in the end you will have the opportunity to serve our great nation in times of crisis. As a volunteer you will be providing spiritual, moral, morale and assurance of freedom of choice decisions to our service members, others who are providing assistance and resources to those affected in the crisis.
The kind of chaplain personality needed is an individual who can function in a military style chain of command. Not everyone can do that. It's not about professional ability, but rather an ability to function as part of the team led to restoring those who have been hurt during times of emergency.
If your interest has been challenged, contact me at my email address listed above.
